MHA’s Valor House Partners with Xplorer Maps
MHA is a proud recipient for Xplorer Maps Annual "Buy a Blanket, Give a Blanket" Promotion in Honor of Memorial Day.
(Missoula, MT - May 6, 2025) – This Memorial Day, Xplorer Maps is honored to continue its commitment to supporting veterans with the return of the "Buy a Blanket, Give a Blanket" promotion, running from May 15 to 26, 2025. In collaboration with the Missoula Housing Authority’s Valor House and Veterans Inc., Xplorer Maps will donate one USA fleece blanket for every one purchased during the campaign. This initiative pays tribute to the brave individuals who have served our country by providing warmth and comfort to veterans in need.
Customers can participate in this initiative by purchasing a fleece blanket at Xplorer Maps' Missoula headquarters at 1245 S 3rd St W, where complimentary shipping and gift wrapping are available. Online shoppers can also contribute by using the promo code BBGB25 at checkout on xplorermaps.com. “Our veterans have sacrificed so much, and providing them with even a small gesture of comfort is the least we can do,” said Greg Robitaille, co-founder of Xplorer Maps. “Through this initiative, we hope to show our gratitude, raise awareness, and make a meaningful impact in their lives.” The Valor House, operated by the Missoula Housing Authority, and Veterans Inc. both provide permanent housing and supportive services to homeless veterans, ensuring they have a safe and stable place to call home.
“MHA is proud to give those who have served our country safe and affordable homes to call their own. The community that has been built over twenty years at the Valor House and the partnership with the VA has truly made this project a beautiful success story” says Gwenyth Rafuse, MHA, Director of HUD Programs. “We appreciate Xplorer Maps for donating their time and product in order to shine a light on such a valuable program within our community.”
Listeners can learn more about the impact of these organizations by tuning into The Trail Less Traveled podcast, which features discussions with the Missoula Housing Authority and Veterans Inc. about their work in supporting veterans at the Valor House.
