In order to be eligible for a Shelter Plus Care Voucher you must:
- make below 80% AMI (Click here for income limits>>)
- have a case manager;
- qualify as homeless and disabled;
- complete a paper application.
Waiting List:
Applicants will be placed on the waiting list in order of: date of application; preference points; income targeting requirements; and other eligibility requirements set forth by the administrative policies of each program. Unfortunately, the waiting list for these vouchers is 6 months to 3 years long, and MHA has no emergency housing or assistance.
